What is your most memorable wedding?
Our own wedding! We absolutely love shooting other people's weddings and can relate to how special your day is to you. Hopefully your wedding day will be as memorable for you as ours was to us.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Relaxed, Friendly, Professional, Candid, Romantic.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Honestly, we pride ourself on customer service and full transparency. I feel we do all we can to over deliver where we can - be that in more images than expected or fitting your day into a last minute slot to even helping attach buttonholes! I feel proud how much we help our clients and how much the clients appreciate our efforts.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Create a cohesive theme to make the day feel solidified.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There has been so many great moments, but the first one that comes to mind is a wedding I covered where the wedding car they used was the same car used by the brides parents and grandparents. Three generations of weddings using the same wedding car is a special touch that makes the day much more personal.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We feel it's vital to meet with the couples before the big day to make sure we are a good fit for each other. Therefore we offer a meet up or video calls to talk beforehand and keep communication open throughout their planning process to offer advice when needed.
One thing we like to make very clear is what time we will be at the venue, we don't want you to worry about our arrival and timings on the day.
After the wedding we keep you up to date on the progress we have made from selecting the images to editing progress to album design. We are open to asking for an update as we are often as excited as your are! Once editing is done we arrange getting the images to you however suits you best.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
CONFETTI! I cannot explain how much fun that moment is and what is adds to their images.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I was once asked if i could cover the 'Sealing of the Marriage' 😂 (Not one for the portfolio!!)
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Enjoy it, embrace it and use it to your advantage! We can capture some of the most amazing photos in the rain and get some unique photo memories. I personally think that as you cant choose the weather - you should use it!
Describe how you got into photography.
David: Originally i was into free-running and purchased a high end camera for my video work. I quickly learnt it wasn't as easy as buying a better camera to get better images so I started to learn how to get the best out my camera and found along the way the joys of portraiture. This has become an obsession with 100s of hours of studying and +150,000 images taken to date - I still have some of my very first images captured!
Hannah: I've been into photography for a number of years now and with both my dad and husband taking photo's it's inevitable
I started too!
