Bloc was born in 2020 after I was furloughed in the initial lockdown, starting as a way to keep busy during a pandemic.
It was fathers day & people couldn't leave their houses so I thought this is a good time to test if people love cheese as much as me. We tripled what we thought we might sell, so then I thought, I might be onto something.
Since then we have launched grazing tables & trays, wedding cheesecakes and even had our own market stall. We took the plunge in October 2021 and took on a commercial space and a couple of 'cheese elves' to get ready for our busiest Christmas yet. My mum, cousin and best friend joined the team making it a real family business...what I always dreamed of.
Bloc offers beautiful food using quality cheeses including Vegan cheese from artisan makers. We work with local suppliers and have a big focus on being environmentally friendly to bring you the ultimate treat, the perfect gift or showstopper at an event.
