Two facades decorate the look in itself sumptuous, a renaissance one overlooking Rio del Paradiso, and a late Renaissance one overlooking Campo Santa Maria Formosa. Beyond them, the palace hosts two noble floors. Going up the staircase, you'll find yourself surrounded by eighteenth-century decorations and original frescoes of the masters of Venetian painting. What a gem of a hotel!What a gem of a hotel!
What a gem of a hotel! We have just spent five nights here and we had the most wonderful time. The Hotel is in a typical venetian campo and one feels right at the heart of the city but without all the usual bustle and noise. The staff are all professional, friendly and informative and nothing seems too much trouble. The breakfast is fresh and varied. We cannot wait to return in March 2024!What a gem of a hotel! We have just spent five nights here and we had the most wonderful time. It's really well appointed just a short walk from all the major tourist attractions. Our junior suite was spacious and the bed comfortable, we enjoyed the canal view. Breakfast was fine, however we decided we'd rather sample the local cafes after the first day and found that worked better for us. Reception staff were helpful. We had a great stay there for a weekend. Room was super comfortable and had a lovely view of the canal. Staff were super friendly, their barman was great and served us a lovely dinner one evening by the canal. Location was also so central. We (two adults) stayed for 2 nights in December, 2017. It was one of the most comfortable and beautiful hotel that I have stayed in during multiple trips in Europe (~ 10 countries, ~ 2 months) for this price. The room and the lobby look more classic than they are in the photos, almost like in a movie. Breakfast was delicious and the the staff apparently loved his job very much.
