Our room was wonderfulOur room was wonderful
Our room was wonderful and the breakfast buffet delicious. Radda in Chianti is a delightful small village and not overcrowded like bigger cities. We attended a cooking class, strolled along the city wall and did a wine tasting or two. I do recommend that you rent a car. A taxi from Siena or Florence will cost you $120-$180 because there aren’t any cabs in Radda and you’re paying both ways. The reason I gave Relais Vigale a “5” was their service above and beyond expectations...Our room was wonderful and the breakfast buffet delicious. Lovely property, friendly staff and a warm welcome. The breakfast offering was extensive, and the team were helpful with suggestions of how to book bike hire, vineyard tours etc. Dinner in the restaurant was also delicious. The hotel pool was clean and has a lovely view of the Tuscan Hills. The hotel is central, you can walk out to several different restaurants, but it is also peaceful. Plenty of off-road parking which felt secure (we drove our own car from the UK). We would stay here again.Lovely property, friendly staff and a warm welcome. This boutique hotel in the heart of Chianti region is a gem! We loved the charm and history of the building. The service was top notch, the views endless, and the food was incredible. I absolutely have to give Relais Vignale a 5 star review. We had not planned to stay here, but our Airbnb turned out to be so awful - we desperately needed a place to stay. It was high season, and most places where booked solid. Luckily we got a room for 2 nights at Relais Vignale - enough time to sort out where to stay for another 12. When we arrived we got a lovely junior suite. The room was lovely and came with its own small garden area. It was also well over 30 degrees most days ...I absolutely have to give Relais Vignale a 5 star review.
