Built in 1883, Tinakilly Country House is one of Ireland’s most luxurious wedding venues located in Wicklow, set in 14 acres of beautifully landscaped mature gardens overlooking the Irish Sea, just 35 minutes from Dublin.

Steeped in history, this 19th century mansion has been beautifully restored with authentic old world charm with every modern luxury and comfort.

We host all types of weddings whether your wish is for a traditional wedding reception or a glamorous Al Fresco affair, choose from one of our truly elegant reception rooms for up to 100 guests or The Great Eastern Pavillion for up to 240 guests and 48 luxurious bedrooms in Victorian period style.

The Head Chef and his team pride themselves on offering a fine blend of modern and traditional cuisine, creating beautiful and stunning dishes, Wicklow beef and lamb are all provided by local suppliers and Tinakilly’s own herb garden supplies the kitchen with a range of fresh herbs.

Tinakilly is blessed with an ample estate and a spacious, formal Rose Garden, directly to the front of the house, which is ideal for civil ceremonies in the sunshine. Civil Ceremonies can also be hosted in the breathtaking, light-flooded Halpin Suite, with its wooden floors and full-height victorian doors which open directly to the garden.

Our wedding day was just perfect and the team in Tinakilly were amazing to work with. Couldn’t recommend more and the food on the day was amazing! We had planned an outdoor ceremony but the Irish weather had other plans. The team made the transition to an indoor ceremony seamless and put us completely at ease. We had a really lovely wedding day at Tinakilly. Everything about the venue was perfect, from the beautiful gardens to the elegant interiors. The setting is stunning, both inside and out. The gardens were also perfect for photos. The staff were incredible—so friendly, helpful, and professional. If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue with excellent service, this is the place. We can’t thank everyone at Tinakilly enough for making our day so special!We had a really lovely wedding day at Tinakilly. Held our wedding in Tinakilly's country house on 09/09/2024. From the very start, we were attended to and looked after in a professional and pleasant manner. From the running of the wedding itself, to the food, to the atmosphere, the entire experience was flawless. Highly recommended, and thank you to the staff at Tinakilly for making our big day as perfect as it was!!Held our wedding in Tinakilly's country house on 09/09/2024. They provided recommendations and assistance for vendors and listened to all of our wants/needs for the wedding day. All of our guests were from out of town, and as soon as they arrived, they were taken care of by the staff. Each guest raved about the rooms and breakfast as well as the customer service provided. I would recommend getting married at Tinakilly not only because of the beautiful, fairy tale-like venue but also because you will be taken care of from the start as a bride/groom. They provided recommendations and assistance for vendors and listened to all of our wants/needs for the wedding day. All of our guests were from out of town, and as soon as they arrived, they were taken care of by the staff. Each guest raved about the rooms and breakfast as well as the customer service provided. I would recommend getting married at Tinakilly not only because of the beautiful, fairy tale-like venue but also because you will be taken care of from the start as a bride/groom.

Coming from the US and deciding to get married abroad, there were some definite questions of how planning would be possible without great difficulty - I can say for certain, Roisin and the staff at Tinakilly made distance a non issue from the start. They were incredibly responsive through email and would hop on zoom calls for even the simplest of questions to calm my nerves/concerns. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience. My partner and I celebrated our wedding day at Tinakilly Country House. The whole team are just the warmest, most professional group of people I’ve ever met. I was there for my older brother's wedding. What a fantastic venue for a wedding. The Staff were incredible and very helpful and welcoming. I recommend anyone to stay at the hotel. I have worked weddings and been to many, Tinakilly house was one of the best I have been too. Staff are as lovely as the grounds themselves. The hosting room was lovely and the dining hall was beautiful. The food was A++ everyone was talking about the quality.
