Best Wedding Ever!!!

We had our wedding at the Pillo Hotel in August 2023. I don't even know where to begin. The whole day from start to finish was absolutely amazing!!! Francesca, what a woman. She was so lovely to deal with right the way through. She kept us up to date throughout the build up, even to the point of just checking in to see how we are or if there was anything we needed from them. There were even a few surprises on the day too which were absolutely brilliant. I won't say too much as I'd hate to ruin the surprises for other couples. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful day so our photos in the gardens look absolutely stunning. Gareth was the Duty Manager on shift that day and he looked after us so well. There was another manager on but I didn't get her name and I'm raging!! My sister had an accident and ended up covered in smoke bomb dye. The lady manager took her into the bathroom and helped her clean up her dress and make up. The little things like that were just so helpful. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was incredible. The staff got involved in our reception entrance to hype up the guests. It was all just amazing. I can't fault the Pillo at all. The staff, the service, the food, the cleanliness, professionalism, everything was a 10/10 across the board. 100% recommend the Pillo Hotel. I wish I could do it all over again. Thank you so much Francesca and team for making our day so special. xx

Most memorable night of our lives

We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding in this fabulous venue. We would like to thank Francesca and Teresa for making our night so special. All of our guests complemented the staff and service received. The attention of detail given, down to the colours of the LED lights was brilliant. Also the complimentary bag pipe band provided by the Hotel was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend anyone to have thier wedding at the Pillo Hotel. Absolutely amazing start to finish

I cannot thank Francesca and her team enough for making our day so special and as we wanted. The professionalism and attention to detail was beyond my expectations so much so I had to thank them in my speech. It was the most perfect day ever and I will never forget how easygoing and stress free I was. The bonus was having everything at hand from ceremony to dinner and then using their garden and hotel for our photos. They simply made it spectacular.

Better than I could have hoped!

What can I say. The pillo hotel in Ashbourne totally exceeded my expectations! Francesca is a dream to work with and her whole team are a credit to her and the hotel. Our wedding was last weekend and it was a small wedding. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had to make a few changes to the wedding over the last few months and there were no problems doing it. They made us feel so special. Our family are still talking about how lovely they are! The food was to die for and nobody was hungry at any time of the day or night! The morning of the wedding they gave me the most fabulous bunch of flowers, totally unexpected! Everything went to plan. I really can't speak highly enough of Francesca and the team! If you have your wedding here you will not be disappointed! Thanks again to all. We are forever grateful to you. Best day of our lives

From beginning to end everything couldn’t have been more perfect. The hotel was beyond more than I had envisioned it would be on the big day. The staff genuinely couldn’t have done more than enough for anyone, down to the little kids, who I seen were served food first which was a lovely touch so the adults could enjoy their meal. 2 and a half weeks later and people are still talking about the food which was outstanding. Everyone in the team on the day liaised so well with other vendors I had, DJ, sparks etc. which meant we could just dance the night away and not worry about a thing. Beautiful little side garden for photos also as we opted to not go anywhere after our church ceremony for photographs. The staircase, gardens, hotel grounds, the ballroom itself were great to make the most of with our photographer. Francesca & all the team had the Pillo Hotel truly made our very special day so seemly perfect and we can’t wait to come back again for our anniversary to the bridal suite!

Was at a wedding yesterday and wow is all i can say it was incredible,the place is so clean and the staff just go above and beyond,huge thank you to garreth glen and reece that was looking after our table the service was incredible,very friendly staff and will definitely return here with my family.

I recently went to a wedding in the pillo on July the 14th I have to say everything was top class! The staff went above and beyond! The attention to detail from Gareth and Richard was incredible!!
