The entrance to the hotel is framed by a tunnel of greenery which unfurls to reveal the beauty of this imposing manor house, coupled with the magnificent scenery, makes for beautiful photos and precious memories. We are approved to host civil ceremonies and blessings on site with a choice of ceremony spaces available – The conservatory with its panoramic views of Killarney National Park, The Library Room or Drawing Room in our Manor House with antique furniture and open log fires or the great outdoors, closer to nature. You can enjoy exclusive use of the entire venue including our 48 bedrooms, giving your wedding day a very intimate and personal feel. Emer Corridan (GM), Lorraine Sheahan (Deputy GM) and Hayden Coffey (Wedding Supervisor), will take great care of you throughout your wedding journey with us.

It was our 10th wedding anniversary and let me tell you, they made our night the best it could have been! They went above and beyond on every step from our arrival, dinner, the bar, a special anniversary surprise in our room all the way to departure. They get a 10 out of 10 from us! What is the maximum number for a wedding at Cahernane?
At Cahernane, we take a maximum of 83 guests for exclusive use of our Manor house (minimum 50 guests). This means you have full use of the Herbert Restaurant, Drawing Room, Library and Atrium for your special day. We can host your wedding ceremony in the Gardens, weather permitting or in the Drawing Room at a time suitable to you.
We have 48 rooms in total, 40 of these are paid for by either your guests or if all aren’t taken up, the balance is charged to the wedding account. The bedroom rate depends on the time of year for the wedding.
For a non exclusive wedding, we can take up to 30 guests and host your ceremony, drinks reception and dinner. Unfortunately we do not have private spaces for dancing after dinner. Wedding guests are welcome to join other residents in the Cellar Bar or Drawing Room that evening.
Is there a minimum number for a wedding?
No, there is no minimum number, we do many elopements each year with just the couple looking to have a private, romantic escape !
Can you adjust the wedding packages?
Yes, the wedding packages are a guideline to our most popular choices. However, we are very flexible if there is anything you wish to add or change.
