Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at Domaine Le Mesnil?
We have just opened in June 2024 after 2 years of restoration of this old farmhouse typical of the Normandy countryside, we are expecting the first celebrities ;-)
What’s your favourite canapé?
One of my favorite appetizers is a cute smoked salmon toast with a dill cream and a touch of lemon, simple but so refined. It combines the delicacy of smoked salmon, the freshness of the dill cream and the subtle acidity of the lemon, creating an explosion of flavors in the mouth.
This kind of appetizer is perfect to start a wedding meal: light, elegant, and always very appreciated by the guests, whether they are fish lovers or not!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
My favorite treat is probably the raspberry macaron. This delight perfectly combines the sweetness of meringue with the tangy freshness of raspberry, creating an explosion of flavors in the mouth. Its light and melting texture makes it an ideal little treat to accompany a tea or coffee at a reception, while bringing a colorful and elegant touch to any table. A real pleasure in every bite!
What is Domaine Le Mesnil most unique feature?
The reception room with its exposed framework is remarkable but the most unusual place is the covered terrace which partially overlooks the lake. This will be the ideal place for pretty photos.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We work as a family and have put all our heart and energy into giving life to this old farmhouse which had lacked maintenance for years.
We are happy to see the estate come to life.
