Just 35 minutes from Lyon, in the heart of the charming Dombes region, Domaine du Petit Chambard welcomes you to a characterful former farmhouse. This authentic, rural setting, nestled in a landscaped park of approximately one hectare, offers an ideal haven of peace for celebrating your wedding in complete serenity.
An idyllic setting for your reception
The estate is arranged around a beautiful inner courtyard, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You can enjoy a large covered courtyard, perfect for a cocktail reception or a secular ceremony, even if the weather is unpredictable. The verdant park also provides an ideal natural backdrop for your wedding photos, capturing the magic of your day.
Spaces and capacities adapted to your event
The main hall, measuring 250 m², can accommodate up to 140 seated guests, while still leaving ample space for a buffet and dance floor. Depending on the layout, the venue can host between 40 and 180 people, offering great flexibility to suit your needs. Furniture is included: round and rectangular tables, as well as 140 chairs, are available.
Comfortable on-site accommodation
To extend the festivities without a worry, the estate offers two cottages that can accommodate between 30 and 32 people in 8 bedrooms. One charming cottage sleeps up to 7 people, while the second offers 23 single beds. One bedroom is specially adapted for people with reduced mobility, ensuring the comfort of all your guests.

The estate is very well maintained and very functional: there are several distinct spaces that allowed us to have a welcome drink and the ceremony in the park, the cocktail hour in the courtyard, and the reception in the hall, keeping the location a surprise for our guests each time. Everything went smoothly: the site visits, Juan's advice, the setup, and the cleanup. We highly recommend it!We got married on June 21, 2025, at Le Petit Chambard. The estate is very well maintained and very functional: there are several distinct spaces that allowed us to have a welcome drink and the ceremony in the park, the cocktail hour in the courtyard, and the reception in the hall, keeping the location a surprise for our guests each time. It's a magnificent place with its inner courtyard and reception hall, where we were able to seat our guests for the meal and set up the dance floor simultaneously. The biggest plus is its large covered area where we were able to hold our secular ceremony (perfect in case of rain), and also its accommodations with two cottages for family or friends coming from afar. This is included in the package, which is a real bonus.We chose Domaine du Petit Chambard for our wedding and we weren't disappointed.
