Château de Caumale

We were very well received by Mr. and Mrs. Fabre. The winery is absolutely magnificent, it allowed us to welcome all of our many guests in very good conditions. All the places are very pleasant, whether it is the exteriors or the reception rooms. The possibility of renting the large cottage on site greatly facilitates the organization. We would like to warmly thank Mrs. Geneviève Fabre who contributed greatly to the success and smooth running of the wedding.

The venue is beautiful, tastefully decorated and our guests were delighted to be accommodated in the cottage. We all had a great time.

Everything came together on July 18th for our wedding at the Chateau de Caumale in the Landes. The weather was great, so our guests were able to enjoy the entire courtyard during the cocktail party. This castle, full of history and restored by Mr. and Mrs. Fabre, allowed us all to meet up in joy, to continue a good meal together in the cellar and to dance until the early hours of the morning in a magnificent setting.

Caumale was amazing. I highly recommend it. Our wedding was at Christmas and it was simply magical. Mrs and Mr Fabre did everything they could to make our day as special as possible. We decided to stay in the gite on site which allowed us to plan without stress. The gite is oozing with charm and elegance. The main reception room is beautiful and everything is so beautifully decorated.

The place is beautiful and the love you convey by showing it around gives it an extra romantic touch. You are attentive, responsive and adorable. You allowed us to live one of the most beautiful days of our lives serenely and magnificently. So thank you again.

When you get married, you can't escape stress and one of the biggest is the location where the reception will take place, as well as the stay at the castle. We can only congratulate ourselves on having chosen the Château de Caumale. Not only is the place itself enchanting, but even more, the welcome, kindness and availability of the owners of the place made it an unforgettable moment. We highly recommend this place! 5 stars and more if that were possible!

Everyone is free to choose what they put behind their wedding. In a very personal way, we wanted to offer an unforgettable moment to our loved ones and to write this day in our memory forever. For this, we dreamed of a romantic, elegant, but warm setting. For this, we dreamed of an authentic, unique place, and full of history. It is all this, and much more, that we were lucky to find at the Château de Caumale.

Our friends' wedding took place in the middle of a heatwave and their guests appreciated the opening (free of charge) of the two wonderfully cool and immense lounges of the old castle. The recipe room, an old Armagnac cellar of at least 500 m2 is just spectacular with its Gallo-Roman columns. Our friends were delighted with the 7-bedroom gîte with its private swimming pool and especially with the presence of the hosts. I am already married but will highly recommend Caumale to my grandchildren.
