At Château de Seugnac, everything begins with a path.
You leave the A10 at exit 36, pass two roundabouts, and suddenly an avenue of century-old chestnut trees forms an arch over the bride and groom and their guests. At the end of this avenue, the light-colored facade of the château is revealed, surrounded by greenery and bathed in light.
The château is first and foremost a living space, and that's what gives it its charm. This daily presence lends it a warm and romantic atmosphere, with that touch of magic that couples seek: you don't feel like you're in a static setting, but in a home where you can truly write your own story. From the dining room, the terrace, and its promontory, the view sweeps across the Seugne valley and the meadows below: a natural backdrop for photos, a moment of quiet reflection, or a pre-celebration ceremony.
Next to the castle, the meadow is home to the 200 m² crystal tent. Its walls allow light and views to filter through, while the opaque roof protects against the harsh sun and other inclement weather. This is your reception space for dinner, the evening festivities, speeches, and surprises. You choose your vendors (caterer, DJ, florist, officiant, etc.), and we ensure that the venue adapts to your style of celebration, never the other way around.
The castle also offers three guest rooms, including a suite reserved primarily for newlyweds. These rooms allow you to keep a small circle of loved ones close and share a convivial breakfast the following morning.
Just 3.5 km away, the town of Pons naturally complements your stay: hotels, bed and breakfasts, cottages, campsites, restaurants, florists, caterers, hairdressers, beauty salons… There is a wide choice to organize your wedding.
Some couples choose Seugnac for a single wedding day, others for two or three days to settle in peacefully, celebrate, and then enjoy a more relaxed post-wedding period. In all cases, the intention remains the same: to offer a genuine, natural, and elegant setting where you can truly connect, unite, and cherish the memory of a truly special moment.
I would tell them to start by sitting down together and answering just one question:
“What do we really want to experience for our guests… and for ourselves?”
Atmosphere, size of the wedding, season, level of simplicity or celebration… Once this vision is clear, the rest becomes much easier: the venue, the budget, the service providers are chosen according to your project, not what “everyone is doing”.
Only then do we make lists, look at quotes… but always keeping that core goal in mind.
Romantic, intimate, elegant, natural, warm.
The avenue of century-old chestnut trees overlooking the facade of the castle , for the entrance of the bride and groom and couple photos, especially at the end of the day when the sun sets on the castle side.
And the terrace/promontory overlooking the Seugne valley , for "wow" photos with the landscape in the background.
The most unique thing? Being able to experience your wedding in three magical settings without changing location: the entrance under the avenue of century-old chestnut trees facing the castle, the promontory overlooking the Seugne valley, then dinner and the evening under the crystal tent in the middle of nature.
