Truly a slice of paradise at this beautiful resort. The beaches were stunning to swim and snorkel in and often without another person in sight. We found all staff so caring and friendly. They went out of their way to look after us and make sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant, house keeping, the spa staff and deep blue were all beautiful people. Our Beachfront Bure was lovely and exactly what we needed with our own plunge pool to relax in after snorkeling in clear water. [...]Truly a slice of paradise at this beautiful resort. Matamanoa is simply: magical. Situated in the Mamanuca group of islands, arriving by boat to crystal clear waters and the sight of the island will take your breath away. This is truly barefoot island style paradise. I stayed in a Villa which was superb and had every feature you could want from comfy bed to a plunge pool out the front. Everytime you go outside your senses explode from the beautiful fragrant tropical plants, to the blue South Pacific Ocean steps from your doorstep. [...]Matamanoa is simply: magical. incredibly happy with itincredibly happy with it
My wife and I went for our 4th year anniversary to this beautiful island for a week. Getting to it was easy. Just purchase a ticket with South Sea Cruises ahead of time to arrange drop off and pick up. We stayed in the Beachfront Pool Bure. We were both incredibly happy with it. Everything from checking in to check out and organizing activities was awesome and easy. The food is expected to be pricey but thats ok. The dinner menu is different each night.
