The restaurant staff, lobby bar tender. and house keeping staff looked after us really well. It’s a beautiful setting overlooking the lake that can be enjoyed while sitting on the huge covered veranda.We were there for a wedding in May, the food was excellent. The rooms were clean and nice. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The power went out both evenings which affected our dinner but this was not within their control. The guest services were fabulous. Everyone was very attentive and wanted to help. Even was able to get breakfast a bit early so we could have food beforehand. It was amazing! Tried the pub and the restaurant on the property and both had amazing food quality. The free kayaking was a great bonus!Came here to do hair and makeup for a wedding. And stayed the night before. The experience exceeded our expectations. The buffet breakfast was beautifully displayed and had a great fresh variety of choices, both hot and cold. The staff was very attentive and professional from the front desk to the dining room staff. Dining on the terrace was perfect with the Muskoka views to the delicious menu items. We will return! Thank you!We had a wonderful weekend stay at Windermere House celebrating a family wedding at the golf course. The experience exceeded our expectations. Food at the windermere house was fantastic. Both during the wedding and when ordered at the restaurant/bar area. Rooms seemed spacious and clean.
