Loved the hotel for its character, decor and period furnishings. Very comfortable..... wishing I could have stayed longer! The location was perfect for enjoying all that wonderful downtown Charlottetown has to offer. We have hosted numerous events at the Rodd Charlottetown and have been extremely pleased with the quality of service. Tricia makes the whole experience an ease, with her expertise, attention to detail and responsiveness. Charming Venue with Flaws to FixCharming Venue with Flaws to Fix
It is an older building in a perfect location with beautiful woodwork that has many upgrades. However, connecting doors btn rooms have no sound proofing, air vent blows directly onto the head of the bed, and bathroom is very cramped. Front desk staff have incorrect info to some in our group about the breakfast buffet hours.It is an older building in a perfect location with beautiful woodwork that has many upgrades. We really enjoyed our stay at the Rodd. The lobby and exterior is beautiful. The restaurant is really nice as well. The front desk staff were lovely and very friendly. The housekeeping was great. Our room was very clean and it was cleaned regularly. Bathroom was totally adequate and modern. Location was great as well. Overall I was quite happy with the stay. There was a wedding one evening which we weren't warned about, which was loud. Luckily I pack earplugs any time I travel.We really enjoyed our stay at the Rodd. The lobby and exterior is beautiful.
