Travel Notes
What’s the best way to get to Gowlland Harbour Resort? There are a few great options, it all depends on how you’d like to travel!
Let’s start with flying.
The easiest way is to fly into Campbell River Airport (YBL) on Vancouver Island. From there, it’s just a short 10-minute drive to the Campbell River ferry terminal, followed by a 10-minute ferry ride to Quadra Island. Once you arrive, Gowlland Harbour Resort is only a 5-minute drive from the ferry terminal.
What if I prefer to drive the whole way?
You can! Drive to Campbell River via Highway 19 on Vancouver Island. Then take the BC Ferries route from Campbell River to Quathiaski Cove on Quadra Island, ferries run regularly throughout the day. When you land on Quadra, just follow the signs to Gowlland Harbour Resort.
What about flying directly to Quadra?
Great question, adventurous travelers sometimes arrive by seaplane! You can book a flight with Corilair or a private charter, which lands right at our dock in Gowlland Harbour. It’s a spectacular way to arrive and offers unbeatable ocean views.
