The Loft: Versatile Event Space

One of the Cabot Shores properties, a Studio Loft, easily converts from a sleeping unit to an event space. The built-in kitchenette with a bar fridge, microwave and kitchen facilities can be used for catering prep or refreshments.

The Loft has a full kitchen downstairs, available for rent.

In addition, the property has large sliding glass doors, which open into the spacious outdoor deck with great views of Cape Breton Highlands and the ocean. You can use the deck for your ceremony, cocktail hour or alfresco wedding party.

The space includes two bathrooms and can be reconfigured to sleep 8 guests.

The available equipment includes folding chairs and tables, a hot tub and ping pong table.

Whiff’s Lodge Great Room

The Great Room at Whiff’s Lodge is a 2,000-foot space with a bar and stage and access to a large deck. The venue is equipped with tables, chairs, a piano and a hot tub on the deck.

Additional facilities at Whiff’s Lodge include a rustic BBQ, outdoor stage, fire pit and wood-fired pizza oven.

We had a wonderful time at our wedding at Cabot Shores. It was a small wedding, about 30 people. We booked 3 big cabins and 2 yurts over 3 nights. The facilities were good and the lodge is a spectacular venue for putting your feet up by the fire or taking in some impromptu live music. Everyone had a fun and memorable time. Besides the wedding itself we kayaked and made fresh apple juice by hand from the apples in the orchard (it was fall).We had a wonderful time at our wedding at Cabot Shores. It was a small wedding, about 30 people. We booked 3 big cabins and 2 yurts over 3 nights. We spent three nights attending a relative’s wedding in early September at this wonderful resort conveniently located right on the world-famous Cabot Trail. We had our wedding at this beautiful venue in September, 2022. Our experience was amazing. Paul, Barbara, and the crew was super helpful from the planning stage all the way until we checked out after the event. The location of this property is unbeatable. We had our wedding ceremony in between two chalets - Red and Blue - overseeing the Atlantic Ocean. We booked three chalets and rooms at the main lodge for our guests and some of the guests rented yurts. We had our wedding at this beautiful venue in September, 2022. Our experience was amazing. We had our wedding here over the September long weekend and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience! Our wedding was just over 40 adults with some children. The owner and all the staff were very friendly, accommodating and went above and beyond with everything to help us have the best time. Over the weekend staff were knowledgeable with things to do on and off of the resort when asked by our guests.We had our wedding here over the September long weekend and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience!
