Facilities and Capacity
The Atlantic School of Theology boasts several refined spaces that couples can use as a backdrop for their special day. The happy couple can hold their ceremony in the on-site Saint Columba Chapel. This quaint space offers a traditional setting for memorable wedding vows and is equipped with a lectern and piano. Beautiful wooden pews line the chapel and can accommodate up to 110 guests. Alternately, couples are welcome to hold their ceremony outdoors on the lawn. The festivities can continue in the President’s Lodge, an intimate banquet hall with space for 48 seated guests or 75 for a cocktail reception. With an open floor plan, the function room can be adapted to suit various layouts. This room features stunning views of the Northwest Arm from its wall-to-wall windows. To accommodate event entertainment, this space is furnished with audiovisual equipment. Its attached sundeck provides additional space for guests to enjoy the fresh Atlantic air. The venue’s historic 1898 Building is also a unique setting for special events. It serves as a beautiful backdrop for memorable wedding photos.
Services Offered
With this venue, couples can personalize their event space to suit their wedding vision. The events team is happy to provide a list of preferred caterers they have previously worked with. Additionally, couples may choose to work with the caterers and other vendors of their choice. The President’s Lodge features a full kitchen that catering companies may use to prep before serving. The Atlantic School of Theology provides tables, chairs, and dishes that clients can use for their event. Soon-to-be newlyweds can hold their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception here, as well as their engagement party, rehearsal dinner, and related events.
