The Rift is a grand Victorian Italianate mansion and historic gardens in Bowral. The house is an original 'gentlemen's residence' constructed in the late nineteenth-century. Nestled in the Southern Highlands, a leisurely 90 minute drive from Sydney, The Rift is surrounded by established cold-climate gardens and the lush, rambling countryside. Sleeping 13 guests across 6 bedrooms, The Coach House is perfect for large wedding group and family bookings. Brides and grooms are invited to make use of the Coach House’s stylish interiors and to explore the rambling gardens for their pre-wedding portraits and photography. We are proud to have hosted brides and grooms and their families for weddings at Hopewood House, Milton Park, Biota Dining and Centennial Vineyards in Bowral, Bendooley Estate in Berrima and Somerley House in Sutton Forest. The gardens of The Rift Estate and The Coach House are available for hire as a wedding photoshoot location. Established gardens and elegant interiors provide the perfect setting for weddings.
