Wedding Catering at The Old Hotel
The culinary team at The Old Hotel prepares classic multiple-course meals and has an excellent selection of canapés and food stations. For example, a 3-course menu consists of:
- Entrée: Aged black angus beef, Tasmanian Ocean trout cruddo
- Mains: Charcoal Riverine Sirloin, Roasted Barramundi
- Dessert: Vanilla bean ice cream, dark chocolate creme aux
Canapé menus include a selection of hot, cold and substantial items, available for 1-4 hours of service and a minimum of ten guests.

Lunch at the Clare Bar was excellent with Juan making sure that everything was perfect. It's these little things that make the venue. Again, Juan was on breakfast and looked after us so well. Thank you gentlemen We will be staying there again as the rooms are spacious and spotless, but it's the young staff that truly make itThe staff make the place even better! The staff are so helpful and friendly, and the room was gorgeous. It has my favourite rooftop pool and I love the Art Deco style and uniqueness of every room. Elodie from the Events team was excellent in terms of her communication and customer service. Rooms were great for the stay, very clean and they had a discount for pre-payment which was appreciated. We are so happy with our decision! What a wonderful two nights it was spent in the Abercrombie room 😄 Carolina Lopez emailed us after we made our booking and was so helpful and friendly from the get go. We checked in past midnight and received a lovely handwritten note from Jess along with some goodies. Rama and all other staff we met were excellent and made us feel special.We chose to spend our wedding night at The Old Clare Hotel as we wanted our furbaby to be with us. We are so happy with our decision!
