Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

One of the most unforgettable weddings we’ve ever hosted at The Farm was the one that featured an eight-piece brass band. As the ceremony concluded, the band struck up and led the couple and their guests in a joyful march, winding their way from the aisle all the way to the main lawn. It was the perfect beginning to canapés hour—a grand, celebratory procession that set the tone for the rest of the day.

Once on the lawn, overlooking the vineyard, the musicians spread out across the space and filled the air with vibrant, soulful music. For the entire hour, the lawn came alive with rhythm and energy, laughter and dancing. Guests mingled, champagne flowed, and the melodies rolled over the vines in the golden afternoon light.

It was, without doubt, one of the most epic celebrations we’ve had the honour of witnessing on our grounds—an experience so magical it has become a signature memory of our venue.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

One that will always stay with us was a wedding where every detail—from the seating chart to the welcome sign and even the place cards—was hand-painted by a local artist. Each brushstroke felt personal, creating a sense of artistry and individuality that tied the entire celebration together. Guests were delighted to find their names painted with such care, and the couple’s vision came to life in the most beautiful, meaningful way. It was a true reminder of how personal touches can transform a wedding into something deeply memorable.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

Our Sunset Spot is truly one of the most magical places for wedding photos. Just a short walk up a gentle hill, it opens onto a wide field with sweeping views of rolling hills, native trees, and a shimmering dam in the distance. An old farm shed with its vintage rolling door adds the perfect touch of rustic charm, making it an ideal backdrop for those groovy, mood-filled shots.

But the real magic arrives at sunset. As the sky transforms from soft pinks to fiery oranges, the entire landscape becomes a natural masterpiece. The colours wrap the scene in warmth and romance, creating a setting so breathtakingly beautiful, it feels like few places in the world could compare.

The gorgeous old fountain on the front lawn. The fountain is over 70 years old and it has been beautifully preserved over the years.
