First time trip to the snow with family and friends. Had such an enjoyable time at Sponars Chalet. Family run, the owners Rosemary and Eric were lovely and approachable at all times. The staff were so friendly and eager to accommodate. The italian chefs Giovanni and Giuseppe cooked us great meals for breakfast and dinner everyone was keen for seconds! First time trip to the snow with family and friends. Had such an enjoyable time at Sponars Chalet. Family run, the owners Rosemary and Eric were lovely and approachable at all times. The staff were so friendly and eager to accommodate. The italian chefs Giovanni and Giuseppe cooked us great meals for breakfast and dinner everyone was keen for seconds!

Rosemary and Eric go the extra mile! Our stay was fantastic, our kids didn't want to leave. The food was all home made and hearty, the service from Michelle was fantastic. I think my two boys would have moved in with Michelle if she had let them! Nothing was too much trouble. Whilst the decor is dated, that is its charm. This is a historic hotel with character. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. There is a free shuttle to Perisher and they have ski hire, a one stop shop!Rosemary and Eric go the extra mile! Our stay was fantastic, our kids didn't want to leave. The food was all home made and hearty, the service from Michelle was fantastic. I absolutely love this place! I stayed from a Friday, through the weekend and was so pleasantly surprised at how homely and welcoming it feels. There’s a lovely communal and friendly atmosphere with breakfast and dinners served as part of the stay. The meal portions are substantial and dinners are 3 course delicious homely meals. On Friday’s they have fancy dress with different themes each week which I thoroughly enjoyed.I absolutely love this place! I stayed from a Friday, through the weekend and was so pleasantly surprised at how homely and welcoming it feels. Had an absolutely fantastic trip away with friends. The lounge was so cozy after a long day skiing with large hearty meals for breakfast and dinner to fill us all up. The owners and managers were fantastic and really made the whole chalet feel like home. The rooms were a little small but we only ever used it for sleeping so was not an issue whatsoever. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone ! Had an absolutely fantastic trip away with friends. Sponars will definitely be our first choice accommodation next time we come to Perisher. Me and my partner arrived at the very end of the snow season and had an absolutely fantastic time. It’s a short drive to the mountain, and at the end of the season we didn’t have to use chains.
