The National Arboretum has selective romantic settings and many great locations for photography, with dynamic backdrops for these precious records of your special day.
The Margaret Whitlam Pavilion is a spectacular, architecturally-designed venue. You will be wowed by the vistas through floor-to-ceiling glass as you step out onto a private balcony.
Perfect for small wedding ceremonies, the Pavilion conveys intimacy while offering the comfort and efficiency of modern features. The stylish design with arching walls, subtle lighting, a steeple roof and grand polished wooden front doors sets the scene for the beauty of your ceremony.
Our unique chapel is non-denominational, providing for your choice of civil celebrant or minister of religion. This venue has a seating capacity of 80 or standing space for 120 guests.
The Village Centre
At the heart of the Arboretum is the Village Centre, featuring soaring high ceilings inspired by the fronds of the adjoining Chilean wine palm forest. The Village Centre is filled with natural light from windows and glass doors that provide uninterrupted panoramic views of Lake Burley Griffin and Canberra.
With an abundance of natural light and sweeping views across some of Canberra’s most recognisable viewing points, the venues at the National Arboretum Canberra are purely majestic.
Our experienced wedding team at Ginger Catering are dedicated to ensuring that you and your partner are looked after through the entire coordination process.
