Set on a two-acre property, Kyah provides everything needed for your next group event - including being located in one of the most picturesque places on the planet. We have two dedicated function spaces, Brightlands and Evans rooms, that can used for any type of festivity! Whether you’re organising a wedding or engagement party, or a retreat away from the city, these rooms are your new best friend. With a moveable wall partition to increase or decrease the space size, brand-new audio-visual equipment and windows flooding the rooms with natural light, you’ll be able to customise these rooms to fit any kind of event. Our gorgeous restaurant and bar space, Blaq, can be booked for private and semi-private dinners, cocktail events and full-venue functions. For a semi-private event, The Loft is a great option; it’s set slightly to the side of Blaq's main floor and has a capacity of up to 45 seated / 60 standing. Blaq restaurant and bar can seat up to 120 seated / 200 standing, or 160 seated / 250 standing should you wish to include our beautiful covered terrace. Blaq is a show-stopping space; it has an incredible oval bar in the middle of the room, roaring fireplaces for those chilly mountain days, and relaxing dining nooks under curvy archways. With window walls that can be sectionally opened, we encourage dining on our wrap-around terrace under the canopy of our 100-year-old cherry blossom tree. But it doesn't stop there, we also have other spaces available to host your wedding, such as the Tennis Court or even the car park area where you can pop up a marquee or have a standing cocktail event before heading into Blaq for dinner. Kyah is your oyster to do what you want with! We can tailor our venue to suit your needs and preferences and we can accommodate for absolutely everything!
