EVENT SPACES -The Ballroom is InterContinental Adelaide's largest events room, with 480sqm of floor space. The room features a decadent marble floor and is a unique octagon shape, making it a versatile and glamorous space to hold your wedding. -The Banksia room is a medium sized events room with 176sqm of floor space. The room is carpeted and offers natural light and an adjoined terrace area. The terrace area is perfect for your events. -The Grevillea room is a smaller sized meeting and events room with 120sqm of floor space. Went for a wedding reception in the Ballroom. Beautifully decorated, superb food, and excellent service from lovely staff. For a wedding venue, I would like to rate this incredibly highly. I'm not rating this for interior, or music, or anything else. The SERVICE is what made is incredible. As a guest at a friends wedding, I can say that this venue deserves a real look, as it's genuinely worth it. Special shout out to Christina (hope I spelt that correctly) as she was particularly great at serving, and when we heard her name thanked in the wedding speech, we KNEW our amazing waiter had been her.For a wedding venue, I would like to rate this incredibly highly. I attended a small wedding celebration of my elderly mother-in-law on the weekend 30th Jan. I did not stay here so cannot comment on that but my mother-in-law did. I want to acknowledge the following: The ceremony was tastefully done and the food was outstanding.
