Chateau Elan in Pokolbin is a luxury wedding venue, one of the Hunter Valley’s modern golf and conference centers. The Chateau is surrounded with scenic landscapes, vineyards and historic wine trails providing tranquil atmosphere and picture-perfect ceremony locations.
You can host the ceremony and reception at this beautiful venue or sign up for the elopement option at the Chateau Elan venue.
Wedding Ceremony Options at Chateau Elan and its Lovely Grounds
Depending on the weather and your preferences, you can choose indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies at function spaces:
- Carriage House: Beautiful sandstone building for indoor ceremony, features air conditioning, registry table and chairs, microphone, access to Clubhouse gardens, antique wedding bell ring on the door; capacity: 100 guests seated with additional space for standing
- Outdoor Spaces: Pick between three locations: Summerhouse Rotunda, Fairway Lawn and Carriage House Terrace for your outdoor ceremony; capacity: 100 guests seated with additional space for standing
Receptions Options
Decide between two options for your wedding reception:
- The Barrington Room: Modern room with sophisticated details and golf course views; capacity: 90 guests banquet-style or 200 guests cocktail-style
- The Founders Room: Spacious area next to the Chateau Elan Hotel, features flexible seating arrangements and golf course views; capacity: 150 guests banquet-style, 330 guests cocktail-style
Wedding Packages at Chateau Elan
Chateau Elan has two wedding packages, for seated or cocktail reception.
The seated wedding package includes the following:
- 5-hour room venue hire
- Canape service half an hour
- 2-course alternate-serve dinner
- 5-hour premium beverage package
- Your wedding cake cutting and plating
- Dance floor, lectern, microphone
- Coffee and tea station
- Reception essentials
- Venue coordinator
- Menu tasting
- Two-night accommodation
- Golf cart transportation for photos
- Decor signs
The cocktail wedding package is an excellent choice for more casual weddings. The inclusions are:
- 4-hour venue hire
- Canape service four hours (3 hot, 3 cold and 1 sweet item, including substantials
- 4-hour premium beverage package
- Cocktail rounds with stools
- Wedding cake cutting and serving
- Venue coordinator
- Golf cart transportation for wedding photo shooting
- Accommodation in a Spa Suite for the couple on the wedding day
